About the policy
This privacy and marketing policy ("Privacy Policy") describes how TelefonID Sverige AB, Org. Nr 559482-1224, Stora Nygatan 31, 411 10 Gothenburg, e-mail: support@telefonid.se ("TelefonID", "we") collects, uses, discloses, stores, processes and protects your personal data.
The policy only applies to TelefonID's users (callers and receivers of calls) of our services. When you use our services, other actors may be involved, such as BankID, the Swedish Police Authority, the Swedish Consumer Agency or the operator that provides communication services. The privacy policy only applies to the processing that we perform. We therefore recommend that you also read the privacy policies of other actors that you may be affected by in connection with using, for example, BankID.
Our goal is for you as a user to feel confident that your personal privacy is respected and that your personal data is processed correctly. We take responsibility for ensuring that your personal data processed by us is only used for the intended purposes, protected against unauthorized access and we never sell your personal data to other companies.
As a user, you should always be able to feel safe when you provide us with your personal data. With this Privacy Policy, we want to show how we ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with applicable personal data legislation, the Accounting Act, etc. As of May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies within the EU/EEA.
What is personal data and what is processing of personal data?
Personal data is any kind of information that can be directly or indirectly attributed to a natural person who is alive. Processing of personal data is everything that happens with the personal data. What personal data is collected about you as a user?
The personal data that we collect and process about you as a registered user with an installed mobile application are: Name, Social security number, Gender, Contact information (such as address, e-mail address, telephone number and date of birth), Address information is automatically updated via the population register, Mobile phone identifications, Contact lists registered in the mobile phone; Call history; Geographical locations; Your correspondence with us, e.g. via customer service, to respond to queries and handle customer service requests; Any payment information and payment history; Responses to surveys and surveys. If you have agreed when registrating your account, we may also analyse and record voice phonecalls.
The personal data that we collect and process about you as a non-registered user without an installed mobile application but as a caller is: Telephone number, PhoneRecords, Name, Gender, Address information is automatically updated via the population register, Geographical locations; Your correspondence with us, e.g. via customer service, to respond to queries and handle customer service requests; Responses to surveys and surveys. We may also analyse and record your voice phonecalls.
We perform a variety of searches in registers and on the Internet of callers. For example, we search for a phone number's registered person, company or authority. We search the population register. We use, in some cases, BankID to verify a person's identity and obtain a social security number and name. We maintain registers and check these through regular checks against the National Personal Address Register (SPAR) in order to block our services for deceased users or other users who have been written off from the population register for other reasons, in order to prevent the services from being used for fraudulent purposes.
Why do we process personal data about you?
We process your personal data for various purposes. Principally, we process your personal data for the purposes of: Fulfilling our obligations to you as a user, such as carrying out selective checks on who contacts you and being able to identify possible fraudsters or telemarketers and be able to block these contact attempts; Call analytics to block ongoing fraud attempts or sales calls; Generally prevent fraud and perform risk management; Be able to report fraud and attempted fraud to the police where laws are violated; Be able to report rogue telemarketers to the Swedish Consumer Agency; Enable general customer care and customer service, such as answering questions and correcting incorrect information; Smoother handling of cases and complaints; Keeping you informed about our services; Send surveys and give you the opportunity to influence our offerings and services; Inform you about news and offers, for example by post, telephone, e-mail, SMS/MMS or other digital channels; Improve and develop our offerings and services; Comply with applicable legislation, such as the Accounting Act.
The personal data may also form the basis for market and customer analyses, market research, statistics, business follow-up and business and product development related to services. For the purpose of marketing TelefonID, your personal data may be used for marketing purposes to adapt our offering and marketing to you. Provided that you have given your consent, we will send you information about news and offers, for example by phone, e-mail, SMS/MMS or other digital services. If you have not consented to this, your personal data will only be used for us to be able to perform the services to you, as part of our assignment as a service provider. If you do not want to receive invitations, or direct marketing, you can opt out by emailing support@telefonid.se.
In order to acquire more users for TelefonID, we may ask you if you approve of us sending invitations to contacts that you have in your contact list. Provided that you have given your consent, we will send information about TelefonID to these selected contacts, for example via SMS. If you do not agree to this, we will not contact any of your contacts. Your contacts will also not be shared with anyone else, not used for marketing purposes or in any other way processed. Upon termination of our service, all of your contacts will be deleted from our records along with any data we hold about you.
Who are the recipients of your personal data?
We may share your personal data with group companies, partners and suppliers where the purpose is to process the personal data on behalf of TelefonID. Examples of this are IT services and the distribution of text messages. We may share your personal data with the Swedish Police Authority if you have carried out or attempted to carry out a fraud against the contacted user of our services, the company or the authority. We may share your data with the Swedish Consumer Agency if you have conducted or attempted to sell something or conducted a survey with the aim of selling something to our registered users. This will always be done in accordance with current legislation.
Where is your personal data stored?
The personal data we collect about you will be stored within the EEA. We do not transfer any personal data outside the EU/EEA and all our own IT systems are located within the EU/EEA.
On what basis is your personal data processed?
We base the processing of your personal data on a number of legal bases. Among other things, we process your personal data in order to be able to fulfil the agreement with you as a user. We have a legal obligation to process your personal data. This applies, for example, to the processing of personal data that we carry out in order to meet the requirements of the Accounting Act. Some of the processing of personal data that we carry out is based on a so-called balancing of interests. What rights do you have as a user?

In order to help you, we will need to verify your identity. As a customer, you have the right to request the following from us: You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data by us is restricted. However, if you request that the processing of your data be restricted, it may mean that we cannot fulfil our obligations to you and that the service must be terminated during the time that the processing has been restricted. This means that you have the right to request that your personal data be deleted if it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. We cannot delete your data when there is a legal retention requirement, such as the Accounting Act, or when there is a legal basis for retaining certain data, for example in the event of an ongoing contractual relationship. You have the right to receive a copy of the personal data concerning you in a structured format (data portability). The right to data portability, as opposed to the right to a register extract, only applies to data that you have provided to us and that we process on the basis of certain legal grounds, such as a contract with you. In other words, only certain data are covered by the right to data portability. You have the right to object to personal data processing that is carried out on the basis of a balancing of interests. If you object to such processing, we will only continue the processing if there are legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests. You always have the opportunity to influence which channels we should use for mailings and personal offers. In that case, you should not object to the processing of personal data as such, but instead limit the communication channels by changing the settings. In some cases, TelefonID will ask for your consent to process your personal data. For example, to send SMS to your contacts. Changes to the Privacy Policy
